Stone Soup

Today, it's hot 😎

Today I read Stone Soup, level G from Folk and Fairy Tale. This story tells us the importance of sharing with others. Once upon a time, there is a village whose people don't like to share. A visitor came and started making stone soup!!!

He said, "I once had stone soup with cabbage and carrots..."

Every he told about a great soup, people brought various foods. Finally, his stone soup was ready and people began to eat it. 

I think if everyone make a thing, helping each other, they can make great thing which is better than making with their own idea.

This week

The day before yesterday, I saw Mission Impossible's event in Japan on the Internet. I love Tom Cruise, so I was excited to see his interview in English. He was always smiling and kind to his fan. Every he said, "Hello.", his fan shouted excitedly. I wanted to go there, but I can't because of classes.
His movie is released in August. I'm looking forward to watching his amazing actions.

True Heroes of Sport

Today I read True Heroes of sport, YL 1.6 from Oxford Dominoes series.

Some people in the world of sport are heroes only because they are the best at their sport. But sportsmen in this book are true heroes of sport not only because they are champions, but because they live through bad times and learn to be stronger people through sport.

Some sportsmen are people with physical imperfections and they tried to practice harder than people who can move or play sport freely. However, they doesn't boast their hard-working. I think that is their great points, and many people  think so.
Sportsmen give us energy which we can convert into our working or studying and playing. As is often the case with us, we pay attention to champions without realizing, but we should see their practice.

Last Sunday, I went to training workshop at hall. I work in cram school.

I could see many teachers and we discussed how to improve students' scores and keep their motivation. In summer vacation, we will teach them for 100 minutes a day and it's difficult for them to keep concentration. However, I learned way to teach them. I'm looking forward to seeing them next time.

Karen started to uncover it, but as she did it, someone tried to kill her....

Today I read The story of chocolate, level 3 from Usborn Young Readers.

Do you like chocolate? 

In the early time, monkey ate chocolate!!! People saw them eating chocolate and they began to drink chocolate. Chocolate was very precious, so rich people and the kings only could drink it all the time. Also, it was used for trading among nations.
Every time people drank it, they thought about how to make it more delicious. By doing so, they mixed chocolate and milk, sugar, caramel and so on.

Today, many people are worried about their health, so they don't eat more chocolate than earlier people, but I think we should eat it because it help us work efficiently and make happy.

Scotland

It's very hot today. Today's the maximum temperature is 35!!!

Today  I read Scotland, YL 2.0 from Oxford Book Worms series.

How much do you really know about this country of exciting cities, beautiful islands and wonderful mountains? Everybody knows about Scotch whisky, but this book looks a little further than the Scotland of visitors.

Scotland has full of attracting points. There are many delicious food and especially whisky is famous because water is good. I want to eat shortbread with tea. Also, there are traditional clothing. That is Kilts and tartans. Scottish people wear them and dance scottish dancing. The other day, Scottish dancing perform was held in Kumamoto.

Do you believe in Nessie? If you go to in Loch Ness and discover it, you may be able to become famous person...

Yesterday I drank amazake at breakfast. I mixed amazake and green vegetable juice and honey for the first time. It was delicious!!! I recommend you to make it when you don't eat in the morning.

Next time I want to mix amazake and something new. I'm thinking about it, but I will want to drink something fruity.
