BR 13: Jack and the Westbourne fair

Jack was in the headmaster's office for the second time that day. and this time as definitely worse. (p.25)

「jack and the westbourne fair」の画像検索結果     Jack is called a problem child. He doesn't do his homework, take classes seriously, and often spray graffiti on walls because he doesn't like people around him. That's why I chose this book. These type of students may think they want other people to acknowledge their personality. In Jack's case, he helps a child who is lost in an amusement park and his parents discover his good point. I think there is few opportunities to think about these students in schools in Japan, so I want teachers to give students tips, how to face the problem.

This book is Helbling Readers series. This series is focused on students and schools, so I recommend you to read this book if you want to be teachers.

BR 08: Stories from Shakespeare

' You were wrong to give the ring away, Gratiano, ' said Portia. (p.14)

「the stories from shakespeare penguin readers」の画像検索結果     I like to read Shakespeare's stories. I've read "Hamlet" and "Romeo and Juliet" before. I had thought he was good at writing people's feeling clearly and gave us fancy imagination, but this story has a strange happening. I think the characters in Shakespeare's book want to merry women who are rich or famous family. In fact, in this book, two men tries to merry a woman. Then, they had to choose the correct box in three the boxes to be a husband of the woman. As a result, Gratiano chose the correct box, but I think the box chose the man rather than he did because he was a brave and honest man who deserved to be her husband.

This book has musical pictures and 4 stories. If you want to read his stories at the same time, I recommend you to read it. It is Penguin readers series.

As you know that the word, 'Scrooge-like' means someone is stingy, Scrooge is a cold and greedy man at first, but in the end he can change his thinking at the right foot. That's why I like this book. I think he has been so stingy about money since he had lost his reliable partner. However, his partner appeared suddenly as a ghost and took Scrooge to the city to show the people's poverty. I think his partner didn't Scrooge to regret in his life and hope that Scrooge was loved by people by giving people happiness in the Christmas Day.

There are a variety of gods all over the world. I'm interested in the origin stories. In Thailand, monkeys are a kind of gods which are worshiped by people because of a legend. Now, people treat them as a whole family, so they give some special food and hospitality. More over, they have yearly party and people make a big cake which is 4 meter tall for them. I think the king and wife were essential all the time, so people have thanked monkeys for a long time. That is karma. It reminds us of whether we can appreciate others around us. Karma involves both good and bad returns. When we give others some positive opportunities or things, we can't guess the price. Then we shouldn't ask some prices. Thai people show us the studying.

If you are interested in animals or interesting gods, I recommend you to read it. This book has colorful pictures and explanations in detail. You can see That's words and situations.
