TITANIC

 

Today I read TITANIC, YL3.2 book from Peguin Readers series. When it comes to TITANIC, most of us propably think about　Jack and Rose's love story, but it is fiction based on nonfiction.This story show us the accident. TITANIC was one of the biggest passenger boats in the world and people said an unsinkable boat. It had nice bars, restaurants, and playing. The passengers enjoyed traveling. Unfortunately, it hit ice and began to sink. The passengers were afraid. The crews conveyed SOS or CQD, but no boat didn't notice. At last it filled with water and broke. Althogh the crews wanted to help the all passengers, they couldn't because of the lack of the life boats. The passengers had to jump into the sea and they died.  In America, wireless comunication had begun to develop after the accident. In 2004, people made international treaty of protection TITANIC, so it is under the sea as it was. Jack and Rose's love story shows us the tragedy of the accident and they want us to think about it.
