Today I read The story of chocolate, level 3 from Usborn Young Readers.
Do you like chocolate?In the early time, monkey ate chocolate!!! People saw them eating chocolate and they began to drink chocolate. Chocolate was very precious, so rich people and the kings only could drink it all the time. Also, it was used for trading among nations.
Every time people drank it, they thought about how to make it more delicious. By doing so, they mixed chocolate and milk, sugar, caramel and so on.
Today, many people are worried about their health, so they don't eat more chocolate than earlier people, but I think we should eat it because it help us work efficiently and make happy.
