Today I read This is San Francisco, YL 1.2 from Heinemann Guided Readers series.

San Francisco is the center of finance, music and arts in western America. Moreover, we can see the beautiful view over the bay. There are many people from other countries such as China, Japan, Europe and so on. I have heard about Chinatown, but I know about Japantown for the first time when I read this book. Many Japanese people live there and there are a modern Japanese hotel, gardens, bath-house and shops.

I want you to know about redwood trees, the tallest trees in the world. They are more than 91m high! Trees are so tall, so we can feel stay in the fairy story.

We should have our wide view and see, watch and feel about the world!
