Today I read Old Testament, The Usborn Little Book series.（I'm sorry for showing book level.）

The best-known and best-loved stories from the Old Testament have been selected for this retelling of the Bible for young children.

Have you ever heard about the Old Testament? I think you studied it in world history. This book is written for young children, so pictures are so pretty and easy to understand. The stories are a little short, and you can read for a week.

I will talk about King Solomon . One village, the two women live together. They give birth to babies at the same time. However, one of the baby die and they come to want the other baby. They ask King Solomon to judge about which women's baby alive. He says " Cut the baby in the half and give one half to each of these women." Then first woman try to cut the baby, but the second woman doesn't do it. So, the King decide that the second woman is the baby's true mother.

If you read this book, you may get some idea about daily life.
