Today I read The Caribbean File, YL 1.4 from Cambridge English Readers series.

British agent Munro goes to the Caribbean. He is looking for two dangerous terrorists. Munro's boss tells him: 'Go. Watch. Listen. Why are they there? What are they doing?' Munro first finds the men and a third terrorist. Then he tries to stop them before it is too late.

As Munro finds them, he come across a woman, Salgado. They come to get along well and enjoy drinking. Unfortunately, he notice that she is a member of terrorists. The two men and she capture a scientist's son and try to get nuclear.
Their final purpose is to conquer the world.

I couldn't guess their purpose and who Salgaro is until I finish reading this story. In thriller story, beautiful women often hold their secret and they are key of the plot.
 I want you to read as if you were a detective as Homes.
