Today I read Skyjack, YL 3.2 from Oxford Bookworms series.
When a large plane is hijacked, the Prime Minister looks at the list of passengers and suddenly becomes very, very frightened.There is a name on the list that the Prime Minister knows very well- too well.
And there isn't much time. One man lies dead on the runway. In a few minutes the hijackers will use their guns again.
The hijackers aim to get their two brothers who are in prison. The Prime Minister try to exchange them and the passengers. There are one hundred and eight passengers on the plane. The Prime Minister is afraid because some ambassador is on it and she must keep them alive.
I felt as if I were in the situation. The Prime Minister is worried and the passengers confuse. I'm impressed by her word, 'May God with you.' I like to watch documentary TV and know how people could get through hard situations. Those who experienced it are very strong and brave.
I want you to feel her feeling and think that if you were the Prime Minister, what would you do for people.
